Poetry

I have written poetry all of my life in various ways, shapes and forms. Most recently, as an anthropologist and ethnographer I have been drawn to poetry as a different way of documenting and engaging in what I am observing and experiencing.

I was the 2014 recipient of the Haas Scholarship to attend the Community of Writers at Squaw Valley. In 2015 I was a poetry Writing Fellow at the Blue Mountain Center. I have also been the co-organizer of the “So-Called Marginalia” poetry reading series in New York City from 2008-2012. Below are some published poems.
